For Employers
Employers just need to post a job using a simple form, briefly describing their project description and amount. Freelancers then responds with their own tailored proposal. Employers review proposals, pick a freelancer and pay a deposit to start the project. Once the project is completed and they are totally satisfied, they release the payment to freelancer through PPH payment system. They can also pay hourly price and track timing by the time tracker system.

For Freelancers
Freelancers are free to sign up, create a profile, select skills according to their expertise, upload a portfolio, send project proposals (free members can send 15 proposals per month) and discuss project details with the employer. If the employer awards them the project, they get paid after project completion via PPH payment system.
Fee Structure For Freelancers
There is no registration / sign-up fee, fee to search for projects, or even to post an offer. Therefore, PeoplePerHour charges the freelancer a service fee on earnings as follows:
- Below £350-lifetime billing per buyer: 20% (excl. VAT) service fee
- Between £350 and £7000-lifetime billing per buyer: 7.5% (excl. VAT) service fee
- Over £7000-lifetime billing per buyer: 3.5% (excl. VAT) service fee

Freelancers can withdraw their earned money using the following methods:
